Round robin

Distributing incoming leads to agents in turn, so each gets an equal share.

Definition

Round robin means assigning new leads to team members in rotation: the first lead goes to A, the second to B, the third to C and the fourth back to A. The aim is to balance the workload and make sure no lead is left without an owner.

In medical tourism, clinics often use rule-based routing rather than a pure rotation: the right team is chosen first by language, treatment or country, and leads are then rotated within that team.

Why it matters for clinics

Without an assignment rule, leads go to whoever spots them first: some agents are overloaded while some enquiries are never picked up. A clear assignment setup shortens first-response time and makes it fair to compare agent performance. In MedicalGrow, our team configures assignment rules for you during setup.

Example

A clinic routes German enquiries to its two German-speaking agents and English enquiries to a four-person English team, in rotation. Each agent's daily lead count evens out, and response times can be compared on agent scorecards.
